On Sunday 28th August 2022, IU1NLV/IX1, I1WKN/IX1, IK1RAC and IU1PZJ, four radio amateurs from Italy reached the summit of Mont Taille and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 151 contacts in total working on the 40, 20, 17, 6, and 2 metre and the 70 cm amateur radio bands.

The summit of Mont Taille is 2561 metres (8402 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
