On Saturday 9th September 2023, Robert N0QLR, a radio amateur from Peyton, CO reached the summit of Mount Adams and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 11 contacts in total working on the 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
