On Monday 11th July 2022 Robert WC1N a radio amateur from South Easton, MA reached the summit of Mount Washington and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 17 contacts in total working on the 40, 20 and 17 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Mount Washington is 1917 metres (6289 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
