On Thursday 9th November 2023, Paul K9PM/P, a radio amateur from Box Elder, SD reached the summit of Mount Wrightson and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 47 contacts in total working on the 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Mount Wrightson is 2882 metres (9455 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
