On Friday 21st July 2023, Matt K0MOS, a radio amateur from Longmont, CO reached the summit of Mount Yale and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 32 contacts in total working on the 2m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Mount Yale is 4327 metres (14196 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
