Nature Park Hohes Venn-Eifel (DLFF-0047 [High Fens-Eifel Nature Park](DLFF-047), is a protected area of 10,770 hectares lying in North Rhine-Westphalia, south-west of the city of Cologne in the west of Germany. It was designated in 2004 as a National Park and is an IUCN Management Category II area.
An IUCN Management Category II area is a large natural or near-natural area which protects large-scale ecological processes that have characteristic species and ecosystems. It is also an area where recreational and visitor opportunities are compatible with the protection of the inherent characteristics.
