On Saturday 23rd March 2024 at 14:58 UTC, Horst DD7UW, a radio amateur from Germany made contact with Wolf DF7TF/P, a radio amateur from Germany who was operating from the Nature Park Obere Donau (DLFF-0096) on the 40m amateur radio band.
Nature Park Obere Donau (DLFF-0096), is a protected area of 149,600 hectares located in the districts of Biberach, Sigmaringen, Zollernalb and Tuttlingen in the south of Baden-Württemberg, German. It was designated as a Nature Park in 1990
The reserve follows the course of the River Danube and its tributaries Lauchert and Bära between Herbertingen and Geisingen.
