On Friday 29th March 2024 at 11:23 UTC, Mike G3VQQ, a radio amateur from Yorkshire in the north of England, made contact with DL0FOX/P, an amateur radio club station from Germany, who were operating from Nature Park Schönbuch (DLFF-0108), on the 20m amateur radio band.
Nature Park Schönbuch (DLFF-0108), is a protected area of 15,600 hectares lying north of the city of Tübingen, in the state of Baden-Württemberg, in south-west Germany. It was first established in 1972, making this park the oldest nature park in the state of Baden-Württemberg. Over 80% of the park area has forest cover.
