On Wednesday 3rd August 2022 Bruno HB9CBR/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Niesehore and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 95 contacts in total working on the 60, 40, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Niesehore is 2776 metres (9108 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
