On Thursday 28th March 2024 at 17:51 UTC, Andreas DL6AP, a radio amateur from Germany made contact with Greg WA3GM, a radio amateur from Horsham, PA who was operating from the Norristown Farm Park (KFF-4363) on the 12m amateur radio band. Greg made a total of 52 contacts while at the farm park.
The Norristown Farm Park (KFF-4363), is a working farm of some 279 hectares in Montgomery County in the state of Pennsylvania. The farm has a wide range of flora and fauna with 173 species of birds, 71 species of fish, reptiles, and amphibians, 216 species of wildflowers and 89 species of trees.
The Montgomery County Division of Parks has responsibility for the management of the park on behalf of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
