On Saturday 23rd March 2024 at 10:50 UTC, Ivo 9A1AA, a radio amateur from Croatia made contact with Mik SQ7M/P, a radio amateur from Poland who was operating from Piliczański Obszar Chronionego Krajobrazu (SPFF-1251) on the 40m amateur radio band.

Piliczański Obszar Chronionego Krajobrazu (SPFF-1251), is a protected area of 43,790 hectares located in Radomsko, Opoczno and Piotrków counties, and the following communes: Aleksandrów, Wielgomłyny, Kobiele Wielkie , Przedbórz , Żytno, Żarnów, Masłowice and Paradyż in Łódź province, Poland. It was designated as a Protected Landscape Area in 2009.

The areas of the reserve have distinctive landscapes and rich ecosystems. The different areas of the reserve will provide wildlife corridors which can also be used for recreation.
