On Saturday 9th September 2023, Manuel HB9/IN3EHQ/P, a radio amateur from Italy, reached the summit of Piz Lad and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 16 contacts in total working on the 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
