Port Mansfield is famous with anglers who fish the shallow flats of the Laguna Padre for large redfish and trout, and deep sea fishermen venture into the nearby Gulf of Mexico for fish that have dominated the Texas record books for the last 25 years.

Port Mansfield is also the ideal location for barge industry location. Port Mansfield maintains an excellent channel surrounded by available waterfront and nearby off-waterfront property combined with excellent roads connecting to the future Interstate 69 NAFTA highway. Port Mansfield the perfect location for companies with barge and distribution needs.

Port Mansfield is only a 45-minutes drive from Harlingen's Rio Grande Valley International Airport. For pilots, Port Mansfield has a 3,200 foot lighted runway and fuel available. Driving from the big cities, we are 4 ½ hours from San Antonio, and about a 6-hour drive from Houston or Austin.
