On Saturday 30th March 2024 at 13:00 UTC, Zdenko 9A4FM, a radio amateur from Croatia, made contact with Robert OK2PYA/P, a radio amateur from the Czech Republic, who was operating from PP Šilhánky (OKFF-2431), on the 40m amateur radio band. Robert made a total of 59 contacts while at the reserve.
PP Šilhánky (OKFF-2431), is a protected area of 5.4149 hectares lying to the south-east of Prague in the south of the Czech Republic. It was established in 2016 as a Nature Monument and is an IUCN Management Category IV area.
An IUCN Management Category IV area is an area to protect particular species or habitats and are managed to prioritise this objective.
