On Sunday 31st March 2024 at 07:26 UTC, Zdenko 9A4FM, a radio amateur from Croatia, made contact with Willi OK1FWG/P, a radio amateur from the Czech Republic, who was operating from PP Malochova skalka (OKFF-1796), on the 40m amateur radio band. Willi made a total of 57 contacts while at the reserve.

PP Malochova skalka (OKFF-1796)[Maloch's rockery], is a protected area of 1.4596 hectares lying to the north-east of Pilsen in the west of the Czech Republic. It was established in 1970 as a Nature Monument and is an IUCN Management Category IV area.

An IUCN Management Category IV area is an area to protect particular species or habitats and are managed to prioritise this objective.
