On Saturday 30th March 2024 at 14:55 UTC, Lacy YO6CFB, a radio amateur from Romania, made contact with Robert PK2PYA/P, a radio amateur from the Czech Republic, who was operating from PR Doubek (OKFF-0459), on the 40m amateur radio band. Robert made a total of 57 contacts while at the reserve.
PR Doubek (OKFF-0459), is a protected area of 26.8869 hectares lying to the south-east of Prague in the east of the Czech Republic. It was established in 1989 as a Nature Reserve and is an IUCN Management Category IV area.
An IUCN Management Category IV area is an area to protect particular species or habitats and are managed to prioritise this objective.
