A life-sized bronze statue of Private Haron John Baronian by Sir William Hamo Thornycroft who was killed in Mesopotamia in 1917.
The statue depicts Private Baronian is full battle dress with his service rifle slung over his right shoulder and with his left hand shading his eyes to survey the way ahead.
The statute was commissioned by the Baronian family in 1919 and was relocated to its current location only in 2018 to the mark the centennial of the ending of WWI.
