On Wednesday 6th July 2022 Greg KN6RUQ a radio amateur from Pleasanton, CA reached the summit of Red Hill and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 2 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Red Hill is 3055 metres (10023 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
