On Sunday 21st August 2022, Stefan HB9HCS/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Rotstock and activated this summit on the radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 34 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40, 20, 17, 15 and 12 metre amateur radio bands.
