On Thursday 28th July 2022 Stephan HB9HCS/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Wildstrubel/ Lenkerstrubel and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 60 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Wildstrubel/ Lenkerstrubel is 3244 metres (10643 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
