The Route Napoleon is the route taken by the notorious Frenchman Napoleon in 1815 on his return from Elba. The route begins on the French coast at Golfe-Juan where Napoleon arrived on March 1, 1815 beginning the Hundred days. The route meanders north-northwest along the foothills of the Alps.
