Weoley Castle can be found in the middle of a council housing estate in the eponymous district of Birmingham.

The ruins as c.750 years old are those of a fortified manor house built for the Lords of Dudley as a hunting lodge.

The remains which were listed as a scheduled Ancient Monument of d National Importance in 1934 are now under the stewardship of Birmingham Museums Trust.
