On Saturday 23rd July 2022 Conor AI5EZ a radio amateur from Santa Fe, NM reached the summit of Santa Fe Baldy and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 21 contacts in total working on the 40, 20 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Santa Fe Baldy is 3847 metres (12621 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
