On Sunday 17th March 2024 at 08:56 UTC, Jacek SQ8IJR a radio amateur from Poland made contact with Wojtek SP6SUD/P a radio amateur from Poland who was operating from Snieznicki Landscape Park (SPFF-0133) on the 40m amateur radio band.
Snieznicki Landscape Park (SPFF-0133) is a protected area of 27,618 hectares of protected land south of Wroclaw in the extreme south-west of Poland close to the border with Czechia. It was designated as a Protected Landscape area in 1981 and is an IUCN Management Category V area.
An IUCN Management Category V area is a lived-in working landscape.
