Stoke Market Mural

A mural of three paintings by Vicky Mount are displayed on an exterior wall of Stoke Market on South Wolfe Street in the town centre.

From left to right the paintings are as follows:

In this painting a man watched by his cat eats his breakfast while outside the window a man can be seen collecting two bottles of milk from the step outside his front door;

In this painting a man wearing a red & white scarf (the team colours of Stoke City FC) looks up oblivious to the fact that his small dog is lapping up his pint of beer; and

In the last painting three women are shown talking outside the front door of one of the women who stands on the step outside her front door (a large black and white cat paws at her white apron). The woman on the left of the group is carrying a white bucket in her right hand and is holding a broom in her left hand. The woman on the right is holding a small parcel in her left hand. Meanwhile on the street around the corner a woman pushes a blue pram, and a dog chases a cat across the road.
