On Sunday 19th May 2024, Erik LB7PC/P, a radio amateur from Norway reached the summit of Storebjørn and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 5 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio band.
The summit of Storebjørn is 2222 metres (7290 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
