Suzzallo Library is the main library of the University of Washington, named after Henry Suzzallo, who was the university President from 1915 to 1926.

Suzzallo was an early proponent of the Eight Hour Workday, a position that enraged Industry Barrons of the time. As a consiquence, her was forced to resign his presidency along with a number of notable professors of the time. Angered students threatened to strike, but were chose not to on Suzzallo's personal request.
