The 11 number clock of Solothurn

The 11 number clock of Solothurn (StreetView)
Normal clocks goes from 1 to 12 but in Solothurn it's different. The 12 is missing. Nobody really knows but some say it goes back into the middle ages.

The number 11 is very common in Solothurn. The St. Ursus Cathedral has 11 bells and 11 altars and it took 11 years to build.

A local brewery is the Öufi Bier (11 Beer)
