The house with a castle in the back yard

During a period of 35 years Heinz Schönewolf and his wife created a medieval castle in the back yard of their house of Dudweiler outside Saarbrücken. All began 1975 with a wall around the house but then he got the idea to build a castle.

Today castle Schönewolf stands as a fairytale castle. it's open to the public from may to october. It can also be rent for celebrations, weddings, birthdays etc.
