The Peveril Court Hotel

The Peveril Court Hotel

Ramsey, United Kingdom (GB)
This building, now known as Bleak House, has in recent years been an eyesore on the Mooragh Promenade in the town of Ramsey. It now, in September 2022, looks set to be completely renovated and converted into apartments.

For most of the 20th century the building was a guesthouse known as The Greeba and in the late 1990’s became The Peveril Court Hotel and Public House.

During WWII the guesthouse was inside the Mooragh Interment Camp for ‘enemy aliens’ who were in the UK at the start of the War.
