Unexploded Ordnance Found – March 2023

Unexploded Ordnance was found on the Beach side of the Mooragh Promenade on Tuesday 7th March 2023.

Police cordoned off the area and closed a section of the Mooragh Promenade.

Bomb disposal expert from the UK were called and at 07:30 on Thursday 9th March 2023 carried out a controlled explosion of the device on the beach.
