Translink Foyle Metro No.1830 – UFZ1830 is an Optare Versa V1170 with Optare Versa bodywork it has a B43F seating configuration. No 1830 was new in 2017.
The Optare Versa is a low-floor minibus/midibus which was manufactured by Optare Group Limited in the United Kingdom between 2007 and 2018. The Versa styling has much in common with the Solo having the distinctive swooping roofline.
Here on Street View No.1830 is seen in the standard Translink Foyle Metro red livery on Foyle Street in Derry city centre.
On 30th May 2023 the Coach&BusWeek website reported that Translink was due to introduce a fleet of 38 zero-emissions buses later in the year making Derry one of the first cities in the UK to have a fully zero-emissions fleet.
