this was the only structure completed by the third director of the Bauhaus, Mies van der Rohe. The kiosk plans were created by one of Mie's students, Edward Ludwig. Although the structure survived the war, it was inexplicably torn down. It was recreated from the original drawings and reopened in June 2016 to serve refreshments again.
