Undersea volcanic gas outflow

The light blue/grey color of the sea next to the shore is caused by outflow of toxic volcanic gases from the ground (CO2 and H2S). Bathing here is a tourist attraction, but no maritime lifeforms can survive here. The area is called "the dead field".
