On Friday 8th July 2022 Otto 9A/HA5OT/P a radio amateur from Hungary reached the summit of Vojak and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 15 contacts in total working on the 6 metre VHF and the 20 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Vojak is 1395 metres (4577 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
