On Wednesday 20th September 2023, Arthur HB0/HB9CEV/P, a radio amateur from Switzerland, reached the summit of Vorder Grauspitz and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 30 contacts in total working on the 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Vorder Grauspitz is 2599 metres (8527 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
