We have outgrown our facility and are in the way the Cincinnati Convention Center's $140 million expansion, which will cover the site of WCPO's existing building at the corner of 5th Street and Central Avenue in downtown Cincinnati.

WCPO's new building will be located on Gilbert Avenue, on the former site of the city's Natural History Museum. (The museum relocated to historic Union Terminal in 1990 and was then renamed the Museum of Natural History and Science.

After years of debate and planning and several levels of approval, the final stamp of approval to expand and remodel the city's convention center was made on September 30, 2002. The convention center project includes the purchase and relocation of WCPO-TV's building.
