Weerribben-Wieden (PAFF-009), is a protected area of 10,270 hectares of land north east of Emmeloord in the centre of the Netherlands. It was designated as a National Park in 2008 and is an IUCN Management Category II area..

An IUCN Management Category II area is a lived-in working landscape, where the interaction of people with the natural landscape has resulted in a landscape with significant biological, ecological and scenic value. Category II areas are also intended to provide recreational opportunities alongside educational and scientific goals.
