LOL. They finally restored this plane after it had been blown off the pedestal three years ago (see pics). They asked the city not to water near the pedestal the night before they remounted the plan so the ground would not be soggy. So the city didn't water... around the Corsair at the other end of the base. The crew showed up, erected the crane, lifted the plane, and the crane sunk into the soggy ground and dropped the plane and broke of a wing and crushed part of the body.
Well, there was fire juggling found already but this is definitely the first example of soccer ball juggling. A very exclusive sport. Not quite as popular as bowling ball or chain saw juggling. :)
He used to work for Santa at the north pole. He hit the glass ceiling there. You see Santa considers elves nothing more than cheap labor. Its really a family business so there isn't much room for elves in the upper ranks of the firm. In 1970, fed up with a lack of a career path he was enticed by J.J. Keebler to leave the north pole and join him at the Hollow Tree Factory near Philadelphia, PA which had started operations the previous year. He worked his way up through the ranks. Since an...
My friends at the north pole tell me this guy is quite an a-hole. Very much the Trump of the elf world. Most elves see him as a sell-out. Me? I like his cookies.
I've read multiple references to a replica site built in the US for practice. It will be interesting to see if future imagery of some of the US special forces training sites have captured the replica compound. I know SEALs train at Eglin AFB. The team that went in was former Seal Team 6 (i.e DEBGRU). I have no idea where they might have conducted their training. They are garrisoned at Oceana in Virginia. Maybe they trained at Quantico.
I like all these mountain letters. Of course "kf" was my favorite. I had been a while since there had been a lot of activity in that category. Thanks for these.
Their roasting facility is in Alameda on the waterfront near the Oakland airport. When they are doing a batch the whole area for miles around smells like coffee. Mmmmmmm.
Then the tool you use to create your thumbnails is flawed. Look at your thumbnail. Then look at Google SV. Your car is squashed and shortened in the thumbnail compared to the original. Please don't submit any more distorted thumbnails.
Find a way to make your thumbnails 150 x 150. That's square. When you submit rectangular thumbnails they get distorted in the preview. We'll start rejecting your distorted thumbnails going forward.
Sorry to see it close. Back in the '70s I visited the brewery. They had a museum of all sorts of oddities with things like the skulls of cattle whose horns had curled back into their eyes, etc... Very Ripley's Believe It Or Not - like.
WTF?! That's some serious reality-modification. Leads to some interesting extrapolation though...
This is Google right? They sell advertising? I'll bet within two years they'll be re-selling advertising space in Times Square. They could charge a premium by tracking which places in SV get looked at most and re-purpose billboards, walls, signs, etc.

Please make sure your thumbnails and URL match. You submitted a URL from Google but a Birds Eye View thumbnail. I fixed this one for you.
