Art Tuesday – Art Pavilions of London

The Serpentine Gallery is an art gallery in Kensington Gardens, in central London. It focuses on modern and contemporary art.

The Serpentine Gallery annually commissions international architects of world-wide acclaim to design a pavilion on the gallery’s lawn that provides a unique showcase for contemporary architectural practice. The pavilion is host to a special program of film screenings, talks, the BBC proms and café.

Here are a few of the pavilions captured in VGT. One was subsequently moved and captured in imagery in its new location as well.
