Neat find neotrix.
The telegraph is treating this like some kind of breaking news though. (I imagine Drudge will headline it soon.) GE Forums had this location disected and all the parts labeled back in July of 2006. So it isn't really that secret as the news is making it out to be. |

Not much of a secret. Construction barges were there in the daylight. On the opposite side of the Peninsula is a public beach. On that side of the hill the Chinese constructed large air ducts to make working conditions tolerable until the base was completed. There were no fences to keep people out--only English-speaking 'peasants' to chase the curious foreigner away.--the foreigner
