Former Strathyre Railway Station

Strathyre, United Kingdom (GB)
Strathyre Station was station on the Callander & Oban Railway in Scotland. Strathyre Station opened 1st June 1870 and closed 5th November 1965. The station had one station building, two platforms and one signal box. The signal box had 12 levers.

What's left today:
Nothing of the station remains today. A small housing estate now occupies the site of the former station. The only evidence that there has been a railway in the location is that one of the roads now on the site of the former station is named "Old Station Road".

A path now follows the trackbed. Along the path you can see many of the old railway bridges.
