Folkestone's beach doesn't offer much in the way of charm. A wide expanse of shingle is all that greets you.
But what it does have going for it is the Rotunda Amusement Park right next door, which offers loads of rides for everyone, including the Waltzer, ghost train, log flume, rollercoasters and loads more.

The Rotunda's gone now. I used to work there, it was great...but that was the last summer it was open. That was back in 2002...
