Story from the Cleveland Plain Dealer:
An abandoned warehouse caught fire at East 45th Street and Superior Avenue, sending smoke throughout the edge of downtown Cleveland.

The three-alarm fire broke out about 3 p.m. Scores of firefighters in about two dozen trucks battled the fire, which was centered around Metals Crankshaft Grinding.

Strong winds threatened to push the fire into surrounding buildings, but firefighters seemed to get control of the fire about 4 p.m.
