On Friday 19th August 2022, Eric AD6VT a radio amateur from Bishop, CA reached the summit of this peak and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 7 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40, 20 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of this peak is 3383 metres (11000 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
