On Saturday 17th June 2023, Hutch WB5CTS, a radio amateur from Moore, OK reached the summit of this peak and activated it on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 15 contacts in total working on the 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of this peak is 3303 metres (10837 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
