On Saturday 3rd September 2022, Steve VA2SNL a radio amateur from Quebec, QC reached the summit of this peak, sometimes known as Mont du lac Savane, and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
