On Sunday 18th June 2023, Diego LU2HDM/M, a radio amateur from Cordoba, Argentina reached the summit of this peak and activated it for the first time on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 7 contacts in total working on the 2m amateur radio band.
The summit of this peak is 5521 metres (18114 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
