On Monday 1st August 2022 Beni HB9HNT/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Älplistock and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 29 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40, 20 and 10 amateur radio band.
