The gun was used to lay seige to the French town of Amiens from over 20 kilometres away, and was seized by the Australian 31st Batallian on the 6th August, 1918.

The gun weighed 45 tons, had a 28 cm caliber and could fire a 302 kilogram shell over 31 kilometers.
